Moore Stephens Channel Islands has announced that its fiduciary and private wealth business will move forward under a new identity, MFMS Channel Islands.
Both businesses will remain operationally connected through their Channel Islands group, but MFMS will be dedicated to private client, corporate and family office services in Guernsey and Jersey.
Moore Stephens Channel Islands will continue to provide independent audit, accounting and tax services to Channel Islands businesses, groups and institutions.
The dual launch is a brand and positioning development, not a change in ownership or control, and the shareholders, management and Channel Islands boards remain unchanged.
The name MFMS is derived from Moore Family and Moore Stephens, reflecting the group’s Moore family ownership alongside its long-standing Moore Stephens heritage.
The move follows the wider branding of the MFMS Group, an international group of Moore family firms operating across 10 jurisdictions, with over 400 employees across all of its services. The collaboration is intended to make the skills and services of each office more visible to clients with cross-border needs and within the Moore Global network.
The development reflects the continued growth of the Channel Islands business and the wider MFMS Group, whilst preserving the local relationships and independence that have shaped the firm’s work in Guernsey and Jersey for more than 50 years. Moore Stephens Channel Islands will continue to sit within a wider group of over 250 employees across Guernsey, Jersey, London, Monaco, Cayman Islands, Greece and Oman, connecting its accountancy services.
Sam Bird, CEO of MFMS Channel Islands Group, said: ‘This new identity allows us to communicate more clearly what we do within each brand and the experience our Channel Islands teams bring to that work.
‘For clients and advisers, the people, ownership and commitment to service remain the same. What changes is the way we present our fiduciary and private wealth services to the market.’
The Moore Stephens proposition remains centred around technical expertise, clear reporting, local knowledge and access to wider international support where clients operate across jurisdictions.
